EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum two years of related inspection experience in electronics assembly manufacturing.
* Understanding of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

* Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Gerbers.
* Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.
* Experience operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment preferred.
* Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts.
* Knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

* IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification is preferred.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Perform visual, electrical, and dimensional inspections of PCB assemblies.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specs, and Gerbers to verify workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards plus customer requirements.
• Inspect conformal coating operations using black/white light.
• Enter inspection results into the company database.
• Support with first article inspections, receiving inspections, box build, shipping, and sub-assembly inspections as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and occasionally with customers/suppliers.
